All undergraduate programs at ACE are considered bachelor’s degree completion programs, which means they are designed for students with existing college credits. To complete the program, you must have an associate degree or a minimum of 60 credits to be admitted. ACE allows a maximum of 90 credits for transfer consideration – satisfiable through an approved educational institution, an ACE partner or completion of a proficiency exam.

The Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies is a transfer-friendly degree completion program focused on education. The program is designed for individuals who wish to work in the P-12 setting and is non-licensure. Graduates may seek licensure through an alternative pathway program of their choice upon completion.

This course guides students in how to develop and structure safe, secure, and inclusive elementary learning environments designed to support individual physical, cognitive, and social emotional needs. Developmentally appropriate guidance practices and classroom management techniques focus on meeting the needs of individual learners and the class of learners as a whole.
This course addresses the role of professional knowledge and skills in the educational field. Students explore professional, legal, and ethical requirements that guide collaborative interactions with children, families/caregivers, and other professionals while supporting the needs of learners. The concepts of advocacy, professional development, and lifelong learning are addressed in relation to the role of the professional educator.
This course guides students in understanding individual development from childhood through adolescence. Models and theories of physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development are addressed.

This course allows students to explore a variety of literature genres including poetry, picture books, fables, fiction, and non-fiction. Students examine how to use literature to develop literacy, social, and emotional skills in children and adolescents.

This course guides students in the appropriate use of technology tools in today’s classrooms. Students will apply a variety of technology tools for use in educational settings.

This course provides an introduction to the application of research to educational settings. Students will learn how research is conducted in educational settings and will analyze research-based strategies commonly used in education.
This course introduces students to social and emotional learning (SEL). Students will explore strategies and program elements that support the development of social and emotional skills in children and adolescents.
